Facebook Marketplace Pickup, Packing and Shipping

Bought it locally but need it picked up, packed and shipped?

Quote Pack Ship helps remote buyers coordinate pickup from a seller in Broward County, then prepares the item for shipping. Start by sharing the item photos, pickup location, destination and the seller’s release plan.

Bought something on Facebook Marketplace?

Start the quote with the seller’s pickup address, your delivery ZIP code and a short description of the item.

Photos sent by text are a separate contact channel and do not attach to the online estimator.

A practical local-pickup solution

The seller has the item. You need the rest coordinated.

Many online listings are marked local pickup only. QPS can review the pickup details, collect the item after the seller confirms it is ready, choose packing materials for the item and coordinate shipping preparation.

1

Confirm the release

The seller or pickup contact must agree to the pickup time and provide access. Send QPS the contact and location details only after the transaction is arranged.

2

Review the packing scope

Photos, dimensions, weight if known, construction and fragility help QPS determine whether standard packing, fitted protection, crating or pallet preparation may be appropriate.

3

Prepare it for shipping

After pickup, QPS measures and packs the item, then coordinates the available parcel or freight path based on the packed size, destination and carrier requirements.

Real packing work

Unusual items need more than a shipping label.

An item that looks simple in a listing may have glass, loose parts, delicate finishes, uneven weight or a shape that requires more protection than the seller can provide.

QPS reviews the physical item after pickup and prepares it according to the packing scope. This can include wrapping, cushioning, fitted foam, a shipping carton, a custom crate or pallet preparation when appropriate.

Protecting a detailed antique pieceDelicate finishes, glass, loose parts and uneven weight can all affect how an unusual item should be packed.
  • Pickup from an agreed Broward-area location

How the request works

Four clear steps from listing to packed shipment.

QPS handles pickup, packing and shipping preparation. The buyer and seller remain responsible for their transaction and release arrangements.

1

Send the job details

Text item photos, dimensions if available, pickup city, destination ZIP code and the preferred pickup window to (954) 824-5481.

2

Confirm access

Arrange payment directly with the seller and confirm who will release the item. QPS must be able to reach the pickup contact.

3

Approve the quote

QPS reviews the details, provides a quote and asks any remaining questions before scheduling the job.

4

Pickup and preparation

QPS collects the item, prepares it for shipment and coordinates the carrier step that fits the packed item.

Before sending money

Know what QPS does—and what remains between buyer and seller.

QPS is not part of the online sale. QPS does not pay the seller, does not verify the seller, does not authenticate the item and does not determine ownership. QPS also does not provide an appraisal or promise that an item matches its listing.

Ask the seller for current photos, measurements and any condition details you need before you pay. Use the platform’s safety and payment guidance. The seller or pickup contact must have the item ready and provide access at the agreed location.

Please noteSome restricted items cannot be accepted. Carrier, packaging, size, weight, access and destination limits also apply. QPS confirms whether the requested job fits the service before pickup is scheduled.

Questions remote buyers ask

Facebook Marketplace pickup and shipping FAQ

These answers help define the request before QPS reviews a specific item.

Can QPS purchase the item or pay the seller for me?

No. The buyer pays the seller directly using a method the buyer chooses. QPS does not handle the purchase funds.

Can QPS inspect or authenticate the item?

QPS looks at the item to plan safe packing. Questions about authenticity, value or whether the item matches the listing should be settled before pickup.

Does the seller need to be present?

The seller or pickup contact must expect QPS, provide access and have the correct item ready at the agreed time.

Can I send photos by text?

Yes. Text photos and job details to (954) 824-5481. Texted photos stay separate from the online estimator; they are not attached to or combined with an estimator submission.

Can every Marketplace item be shipped?

No. Some restricted items cannot be accepted, and some items may not fit available pickup, packing or carrier requirements. QPS reviews the details before accepting the job.
